We have been retained by a global, publicly held biotech company headquartered in the Princeton, NJ area to conduct the search for an attorney to become its lead US commercial and regulatory lawyer. In this newly created role reporting to the General Counsel, the attorney will provide strategic counsel to the US Commercial team on a broad array of matters in support of the Company’s product portfolio, especially in relation to pre-launch and launch activities, including product launch planning, promotional support, FDA regulatory concerns, and compliance. Qualified candidates must present at least 10 years of experience, ideally including at least 5 years at a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device or other life sciences company. Specifically, the lawyer will provide support in the areas of sales, marketing and patient program review, government contracts and pricing, managed care, and compliance with federal and state anti-kickback statutes, Federal False Claims Act, FCPA, FDA rules and regulations, HIPAA, product liability law, and other laws, rules and regulations applicable to the bio-pharmaceutical industry.
