Experience: A minimum of 2-5 years of progressively responsible general corporate and/or transactional legal experience, including drafting and negotiating contracts and working on complex transactions within the life sciences industry, preferably in the capacity as a member of a legal department in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company or within a law firm representing biotechnology or pharmaceutical companies. The Corporate Counsel will assist in a number of legal projects, including the supervision of outside counsel, and in the management of the day-to-day agreement flow within the company, including drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts such as agreements with contract manufacturing organizations, contract research organizations, consultants, and other vendors. This position requires strong communication and project management skills and a great deal of resourcefulness and autonomy in accomplishing a wide variety of tasks.
