Hawryluk Advisors has been retained exclusively by Saudi Aramco, the world's largest integrated oil, natural gas, and petrochemicals company, to find an attorney with 7+ years of experience handling sophisticated mergers & acquisitions for its Law Organization at its headquarters in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Team Leader for the company’s Project Development & Finance Group, this attorney will work directly with the clients and outside counsel and lead negotiations from inception to completion.
This is a global practice and involves commensurate travel.
Candidates for this position must have: 1) 7+ years of experience with a strong law firm; 2) experience handling large mergers & acquisitions, including 1st or 2nd chair experience on significant projects; and 3) experience with international transactions.
This position also likely will support Saudi Aramco's corporate venturing subsidiary. Accordingly, venture capital experience in technology and/or real estate is a strong plus.
Experience in the oil and gas, refining, chemicals, power or other energy-related industries is a plus.
Experience working in-house not required, but considered a plus.
Candidates must be currently licensed, admitted to practice, and in good standing with a state bar association in the United States and have a J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
