Position: Ancestry is seeking a Senior Director for product marketing matters. This newly created role will be based in Ancestry’s San Francisco office and will report to Chief Legal Officer, Carla Newell. This attorney will play an important role as a business advisor by providing counsel on a variety of legal issues related to agency engagement creation of online and offline marketing campaigns, TV sponsorships, brand marketing, claim support, and advertising. This attorney will be responsible for supervising one other attorney focused on marketing.
Experience: The successful candidate will have 7-10+ years of experience in multi-channel marketing, advertising, and social media, including working knowledge of CAN-SPAM, FTC and FCC regulations as they pertain to product sales on-air and online. At least 5 years of in-house experience strongly preferred.
