BOARD OF DIRECTORS & COMMITTTEE SUPPORT ATTORNEY POSITION WITH SAUDI ARAMCO, ONE OF THE WORLD’S MOST PROFITABLE COMPANIES
Hawryluk Advisors has been retained exclusively by Saudi Aramco, the world's largest integrated oil, natural gas, and petrochemicals company, to find an attorney with 6+ years of sophisticated experience to support its Board of Directors and related committees. The position is with the Corporate Secretariat, a department within its Law Organization, at its headquarters in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
This attorney will support the Corporate Secretary (the General Counsel) and Assistant Corporate Secretary to organize and manage board meetings, set agendas, review and draft papers, presentations, minutes and resolutions and advise as to board authority and corporate governance; provide related committee support; advise as to shareholder issues; manage the interface between the entity, the parent, and other affiliates; provide board member training; develop best practices; and, provide other necessary board support.
This attorney will work closely with the Law Organization's other practice teams including Compliance, Project Development & Finance, and General Corporate.
Candidates for this position should have: 1) at least 6+ years of experience with a strong law firm, large corporation, or other sophisticated business organization; 2) experience providing board support to a sophisticated board of directors and/or board committees; 3) general corporate experience; 4) excellent writing, communication, time management and organizational skills; 5) experience providing concise and clear support to internal clients; and, 6) leadership and mentorship experience.
Energy industry (oil and gas, petrochemical, power, or oil field services) and international experience are a plus.
Candidates must be currently licensed, admitted to practice, and in good standing in the United States, and have a J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
