Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Compliance and Ethics Officer in the Law Department, the Senior Director, Corporate Compliance & Ethics will serve as a global leader and subject matter expert in the Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program (CCEP), working with all worldwide corporate businesses and manufacturing organizations to manage all operations of the CCEP on a day-to-day basis. S/he will develop and implement strategy for publicizing the Code of Business Conduct (COBC), COBC related policies, Compliance & Ethics awareness campaigns and other training and communications initiatives across the company. Role develops and manages a budget for Compliance & Ethics training, events and communication plans.
Designs global training strategy for Compliance & Ethics, selects vendors for training and develops company-specific training for CCEP and CEL use in response to risk assessment. Coordinates with training conducted by other company functions, such as Learning & Development.
Conducts Compliance & Ethics training risk/needs assessment and develops comprehensive strategy for training employees worldwide. Strategy must include the prioritization of topics and recipients, appropriate methods of delivery across a wide range of audiences, and a process for evaluating the effectiveness of training.
Works collaboratively with Marketing & Communications team to design and develop a company-wide Compliance & Ethics communications strategy, calendar of events, and an execution strategy.
Works collaboratively with the IT, Information Security and Global Security departments as necessary to train, communicate and carry out the work of the CCEP.
Develops and plans for extension of the internal expectations for Compliance & Ethics to suppliers, distributors and other business partners through in-person interviews, surveys and other communications.
Coordinates Risk Assessment for the CCEP with Enterprise Risk Management, and is responsible for the operation and testing of entity level controls
Prepares quarterly reporting on CCEP activities for the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors, the CCEP Committee and the CELs and other ad hoc reports as necessary.
Supervises the work of a Compliance & Ethics Attorney and a Compliance & Ethics Professional and is directly responsible for their training, professional development and advancement.
Selects and recommends outsourcing partners, consultants and vendors, assesses services offered and monitors project work against written milestones and provides final sign-off of project; and manages within budget.
Makes presentations to stakeholders as needed. Collaborates with Marketing and Communications, Learning and Development, IT, ERM, Internal Audit, Global Security and other internal professionals to ensure a consistent training message. Promotes best training practices at a corporate level.
Interacts with people at all levels of the company, from the manufacturing plants to corporate offices.

Admission to at least one U.S. State bar, in good standing, and 15+ years of experience required, and eligible to register as in-house counsel in Arizona. Prior experience with a high-quality national or regional law firm required.
Prior experience overseeing similar Compliance & Ethics programs for a publicly traded U.S. company, including prior experience auditing and monitoring compliance processes and controls.
15+ years experience working in the semiconductor industry, or closely related high tech industry, required; experience in manufacturing and complex global supply chains a plus.
Ability to build strong relationships and partner with the internal business units and corporate functions.
The ability to quickly gain the confidence and respect of others – credibility and trust are critical.
Able to identify and resolve issues effectively and make practical, business-oriented risk-informed decisions.
Must work well independently and as part of a team.
An ability and desire to travel nationally and internationally (15% - 20%) to support global compliance.
