This attorney will be based in our San Jose, CA or Lehi, UT office and will be part of the Sales Legal Support team working on a broad range of outbound enterprise licensing and sales matters for on-demand services, managed services, on-premise software, and professional services – areas that are critical to Adobe's success.
This position will negotiate and drive strategic transactions and a significant volume of sales/revenue agreements, as well as counsel Sales and Sales Management and other relevant groups on a variety of licensing, intellectual property, commercial, anti-trust, data security and privacy law topics.
This position will coordinate with various stakeholders and subject matter experts in both the legal department as well as other groups at Adobe to help drive transactions to successful completion. Responsibilities may also include managing other members of the team. This position may also help with projects to improve processes and increase scalability.
Must have a JD from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in the state in which the position will be located
8+ years of relevant experience in negotiating commercial contracts, preferably in the area of software licensing
Significant experience with supporting enterprise sales and on-demand service/cloud-based offerings as well as working on privacy law topics is a strong plus
Strong leadership abilities
