Position: The VP, Corporate Legal and Deputy General Counsel is a priority hire and would be expected to play a key role in the PTC Legal Department with primary responsibility for general corporate legal matters relating to the organization in the Americas. The successful candidate will be a generalist capable of providing legal support to all areas of the organization.
Compensation: A competitive compensation package, consisting of a base salary, bonus and equity, will be offered for this position, consistent with the candidate’s level of experience.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant legal experience and demonstrated success, including serving as counsel to a publicly-traded life sciences company with marketed products in the U.S. Strong experience in negotiation and preparing contracts supporting a life science organization, including procurement and payor relationships, is required. Broad experience in health care regulatory law as it relates to marketed therapeutics, including regulation of promotion and communication, fraud and abuse, and HIPAA/privacy laws is also required. The successful candidate should also have experience managing other attorneys and supervising support staff in a corporation.
Location: South Plainfield, New Jersey. This is a national search – the company will relocate the right candidate, if necessary.
