Overview: The Counsel will report to the Vice President and Associate General Counsel. The position is based in México, and is responsible for providing and overseeing legal advice and support to all functional areas of the Company, including but not limited to its’ distribution centers, and provides subject matter expertise, counsel and leadership to the Company on a variety of legal, compliance and related issues to drive legal and business objectives, mitigate risk, and both manage and prevent litigation.
Experience: The ideal candidate has 7-10+ years of experience in litigation in private practice and/or in-house. Legal experience must also include labor and employment, contracts, marketing, compliance, real estate, regulatory matters, government relations, intellectual property, and supply chain matters. Experience managing legal staff is required, as is fluency in spoken and written Spanish and English.
Relos: Relos are acceptable but candidates must be fully bi-lingual.
Bar: Law Degree from an accredited law school in Mexico with results in upper third range.
