Our client – a privately-held specialty pharmaceutical company – has a unique opportunity for a M&A/Transactional attorney to join an emerging pharmaceutical company in a Corporate Counsel/Business Development Role. The position will work with senior management on all legal and business development activities including reviewing, drafting and negotiating term sheets for business development transactions, licensing agreements, vendor agreements and all manner of commercial agreements (supply, distribution, sales, etc…). The position will also handle regulatory, operational and human resource matters.
Candidates should have between 3 and 8 years of strong transactional experience and at least 3 years of sophisticated transactional experience at a top law firm. Experience working on Life Science Transactions is helpful, but not required; M&A work in the life sciences area is helpful, but not required. In-house experience not required. Successful candidates will be able to apply their experience working on sophisticated transactions to an emerging growth atmosphere, be quick to solve varied tasks of a legal and/or business nature, all with minimal supervision.
