Overview: The Senior Counsel (SC) will serve as the primary legal support for the Chief Legal Officer (CLO) of Unified Physician Management, LLC (UPM) and will help advise its senior management team. Reporting to the CLO, the SC will be responsible for assisting the CLO in all legal affairs for UPM, including corporate governance, M&A, compliance programs and risk management. The focus will be on providing general legal advice to the business leaders. SC candidates must have healthcare experience on the provider side in addition to expertise in the following areas: business transactions, contract negotiation and drafting, and other commercial matters, and ideally litigation management. Experience with physician practice management is highly desired.

Compensation: Competitive compensation commensurate with experience.
Experience: 7+ years of relevant legal experience including serving as a Senior Counsel in a similarly-sized or larger company in the healthcare industry on the provider side. Law firm candidates will also be considered. Experience with corporate transactions, corporate governance and complex commercial transactions is required. Candidates should have demonstrated experience in working in a fast-paced environment focused on accelerating the growth of business. Must be a member of the Florida bar or qualify for the “authorized house counsel” exception (member of the bar in good standing in at least one US jurisdiction).
