JURISolutions is partnering with a corporate client to identify an experienced Derivatives/ISDA Attorney for a temporary position in the NYC area. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of related experience, including ensuring that all ISDA documents are accurately in the internal system and comfortable communicating with the entire derivatives team. Someone who either has experience in or an interest in technology will succeed in this role.
Must have experience counseling on legal issues affecting derivatives trading (Dodd Frank, EMIR, BASEL III, FASB, Fed Regs), and determining legal enforceability of netting and collateral under Basel III, FASB and regulatory accounting standards. Attorney must be able to advise business and technology on proposed uncleared margin rules, monitor and address issues relating to compliance with Dodd Frank Title VII and EMIR regulations, and negotiate ISDA and CSA amendments, FX pricing side letters, guaranties, spot letters, and attestation letters.
Educational Requirements: J.D. and active bar in at least one state
