Our client, CoreLogic, has retained Major, Lindsey & Africa on an exclusive basis to conduct a search for a General Counsel & Corporate Secretary to be based in Southern California.
Company: CoreLogic is an Irvine, California-based corporation providing property information, analytics and business intelligence. The company analyzes information assets and data to provide clients with analytics and customized data services. The company also develops proprietary research, and tracks current and historical trends in a number of categories, including consumer credit, capital markets, real estate, fraud, regulatory compliance, natural hazards, and disaster projections. The company reported 2016 revenue of $1.95B.
Location: Irvine, California
Experience: 15-20+ years of financial services, housing, real estate or related industry experience within a corporate legal department. Prior public company general counsel experience desired. Foundational experience in a well-respected law firm, with job stability and logical career progression. Very strong demonstrated leadership and managerial experience, leading a team of at least 15+ attorneys, ideally in a public company or sophisticated private company setting. The ability to apply extensive legal knowledge and expertise in compliance, real estate, technology and financial services, as well as overseeing regulatory compliance in these areas. Public sector experience in real estate and/or housing is a plus.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience/competitive.
Bar: Member in good standing of the California Bar, or the ability to become Registered In House Counsel in California.
Relos: Local candidates strongly preferred (but those with strong on point experience and ties to Southern California may be considered).
