Our client is backfilling an IP attorney position due to an internal promotion. The position is based in Houston to support software technology.
The workload for the position will be about 30-40% patent preparation and prosecution portfolio management; 20% agreement work; 20% new product development review and counseling; and about 20% miscellaneous matters. The attorney will principally support engineering activity in Houston and some international sites; occasional travel to those international sites may be necessary.

Educational background in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, geophysics, mathematics, or a related field.
