We are seeking a full-time senior level attorney to serve as our primary North American in-house counsel for our specialty fire businesses within the Global Fire Products segment. The attorney will be responsible for the North American legal affairs of the Det-Tronics, Fenwal, Fireye, Kidde Fire Systems and Marioff businesses.
The role will include, among other things, advising management on legal issues, assisting in regulatory and trade compliance, managing litigation and risk-related matters, negotiating contracts, reviewing marketing programs and materials, monitoring product safety programs and ensuring compliance with corporate policies. The position will manage two Contracts Specialists and will provide functional support to other businesses on an as-assigned basis.
The position will report to the Senior Director, Legal Affairs for Global Fire Products and will be based at Global Fire’s headquarters in Mebane, North Carolina. Prior in-house experience is preferred but not required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
J.D. from accredited law school and currently licensed to practice law.
Minimum of 8 years law firm, in-house or relevant legal experience.
