The Senior Corporate Counsel – Information Technology (“Senior Corporate Counsel”), a newly created position at Academy Sports + Outdoors, will report to the Vice President, Associate General Counsel of the Company with frequent interaction with the General Counsel, CIO as well as senior leadership. The Senior Corporate Counsel will be directly responsibility for supporting the Information Technology function of the Company as well as playing a key role in establishing and supporting the Company’s data privacy and security initiatives and programs. Additionally, he or she will provide legal and strategic business advice as it relates to corporate transactions as well as the compliance process to internal clients.

The candidate must have at least eight (8) years of focused information technology and data privacy legal experience with a major law firm and/or in-house legal department.
