We are working with a growing company that has a need for a Deputy General Counsel.
The attorney will work with the General Counsel and senior management in promoting the Company’s interests. The attorney will review and draft contracts and agreements and draft legal responses and memoranda on issues that come up. The attorney will handle some due diligence and assist in transactions as needed. The attorney will be tasked with negotiating and managing with outside counsel on matters as well and providing advice to the business units of the organization. The attorney may be tasked with researching and gathering relevant case law for specific matters. The candidate should have some good general corporate experience.
The attorney should have excellent academic credentials and strong work experience (preferably from large firm).
In-house experience is preferred but not required.
The Company would like at least 6 years’ experience practicing and the preferred background is corporate law experience.
