Join an exciting, growing medical practice management company headquartered in Austin, Texas! Epiphany Dermatology is looking for a happy, positive teammate to join us immediately for full-time work as Corporate General Counsel.
Provide legal advice and counsel on policy and operational work activities including healthcare laws, regulations, compliance and various other legal matters
Oversee all internal legal processes including M&A, debt financing, corporate governance, compliance, leases, employment law and related activities
Contribute to the development and on-going review of relevant company processes, guidelines and procedures
Maintain awareness of applicable federal and state regulatory changes and legal developments, and ensure all company filings, permits, etc. are maintained
Works collaboratively with departmental leaders to establish sound business processes and collaboration to support company growth
Serves as an exemplary, positive representative of the organization and adheres to its core values.
Education & Experience:
10+ years of experience in transactional healthcare law practice or similar internal experience with multi-site healthcare provider (startup/high growth company experienced strongly preferred)
Strong initiative and ability to achieve tasks in a timely manner
Ability to deliver practical solutions to complex situations
Possess excellent communication skills and credibility
Ability to work independently to drive key initiatives
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary client service
Organized and process-oriented to support high-volume, fast-paced environment
Licenses & Certifications:
Possess Law Degree from Top-Tier Law School
Admission to Texas, New Mexico or Oklahoma Bar preferred
