Overview: The attorney will provide legal support on contractual matters (particularly, technology related matters), state, federal and foreign legal and regulatory issues, data privacy and related topics, and business relationships with third parties. This role covers all areas of professional services and advises on matters involving third parties, as well as domestic and international affiliates and associated firms. This position will report directly to the Company’s Lead Counsel - Contracts.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
Experience: A minimum of six years of legal experience gained at a top-tier law firm and/or company, negotiating and drafting a wide variety of commercial contracts with clients, vendors and other third parties including: professional services agreements, software license and technology agreements, alliances, preferred provider agreements, and subcontracts. Experience with software and technology agreements is essential; other intellectual property knowledge and experience are a plus.
Location: Washington, D.C.
Relocation: This search is local to the DC - Maryland- Virginia area; sorry, no relocation.
