Nestle USA has exclusively retained Major, Lindsey & Africa to conduct a search for a Managing Counsel, Head of North America Contracts Center to be based out of its Cleveland, Ohio area offices. Reporting to the General Counsel of Nestle USA and collaborating with colleagues in the legal departments of each of the strategic businesses in the U.S. and the global Legal Procurement function, this position will be the head of the North America Contracts Center (“NACC”), which provides legal support for commercial transactions for the U.S. businesses of Nestlé S.A, and will be responsible for reviewing, drafting and advising on a variety of commercial contracts. The successful candidate will have 10+ years of experience drafting and negotiating a broad variety of commercial contracts and will have both prior in-house experience and training obtained in a reputable law firm, with experience managing people and working with senior management. Experience with business disputes, regulatory matters, and compliance are also preferred. There is a preference for local candidates, but relo candidates who are an exceptional fit will be considered.
