Our client, is recruiting for a Construction Litigation Counsel on behalf of their client, a top national construction firm. Our client is looking for a candidate with at least seven (7) years of experience handling complex construction litigation matters. 7 plus years experience in a law firm or corporation in construction litigation
Prior professional experience in the construction industry is a plus
J.D. degree and experience practicing in the Colorado legal market. You should have the ability to travel. The Construction Litigation Counsel will be responsible for:
Handling complex construction law claims including construction delays and subcontractor non-performance
Evaluating and understanding the critical path for a construction project in order to prevent litigation
Communicating with executives to advise on the best course of action for litigation matters
Working with operations in the field to address issues before they reach a litigation stage
