Parker + Lynch Legal, the Attorney Search Division of Special Counsel, is representing a health plan located in Southern California, east of Los Angeles, in their search for an attorney with either a background in healthcare experience or regulatory and compliance.
The Associate Counsel will be responsible for:
Providing legal research and counsel with a focus on regulatory and licensing affairs
Advising on legal issues dealing with the plan’s contracts and obligations
Providing input and guidance to the compliance department to ensure that there is proper communication and training on compliance and public law requirements

The ideal candidate will have:
J.D. and licensed to practice in California
A minimum of three (3) years post-JD practice experience in a law firm, corporate, or government setting
Federal or State agency experience is highly preferred
Health care law, health plan, or hospital operations experience is a plus.
