Reporting to the CEO, you will be the principal legal officer of the Company, with overall responsibility for the vision and leadership of Roivant’s global legal strategy and services. As an essential member of the senior management team, you will act as both legal counsel and strategic advisor to the CEO and the Boards of Directors of Roivant and its subsidiaries. You will build a world-class legal team capable of providing leadership and forward-thinking guidance on all legal issues including, but not limited to: commercial transactions, intellectual property, regulatory matters, compliance, securities, international tax, litigation, and corporate governance. You will ensure that strategic legal thinking, regulatory preparation, and a rigorous culture of compliance are part of Roivant’s DNA.

A competitive compensation package, consisting of a base salary, bonus and equity, will be offered for this position, consistent with the candidate’s level of experience.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
15+ years experience as a lawyer, including top tier law school and Am Law 100 law firm training;
In-house experience in roles of increasing scope and responsibility;
A strong background as a corporate generalist who has handled commercial transactions, intellectual property, regulatory matters, compliance, securities, international tax, litigation, and corporate governance;
Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or related life sciences industries is strongly preferred as is a demonstrated understanding of the general regulatory environment in which a company like Roivant operate;
Demonstrated success in fast-paced, rapid growth environments is strongly preferred.
