This position will work on a wide variety of both sophisticated and routine legal matters, including contracts, employment, and litigation in the support of various business operations. This individual will structure, draft, review, negotiate and counsel business personnel on a broad range of commercial transactions, including leases, license agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), consulting agreements, vendor, and service agreements. The attorney will be expected to counsel business personnel on employment law matters and to possible handle Federal and state administrative agency claims. The attorney may also handle compliance initiatives and research regulatory issues, handle pre-litigation legal disputes and resolve legal issues arising from commercial relationships.

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and an active bar admission in at least one state
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a law firm or in-house environment
• Strong business acumen and desire to develop as a legal generalist
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to understand and implement general principles of regulatory law and corporate compliance
• Ability to interface with internal clients and external customers on a daily basis and build relationships as an integral member of a solutions team
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality on highly sensitive matters
• Ability to work with minimal administrative support
