GENERAL COUNSEL. The Orange County arm of a large, publicly traded company is seeking a General Counsel to lead a team of 3-4 attorneys in the legal department. To be considered, you must be licensed to practice law within the state of California, have graduated from a top 50 law school (please refer to the rankings according to U.S. News & World Report), a minimum of 10+ year of corporate transactional experience, gained while BOTH within a large law firm and in house corporate environment, possess experience managing a team of 2 or more attorneys, and possess extensive experience with and knowledge of the consumer finance/credit industry.
