We are seeking a qualified person to join our Legal team in the role of Counsel, which is a newly created position in our organization.
Position Responsibilities: Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contracts (clinical research organization, material transfer, confidentiality, manufacturing, licensing, commercial vendor, etc.). Provide comprehensive legal support to designated project teams and other internal functions on legal, compliance, and liability matters. Under the supervision of the General Counsel and Senior Counsel, support due diligence and provide legal support for major transactions and other corporate activities.
Requirements: Minimum 3 years with a maximum 6 years of transactional experience with a respected law firm or in-house law department, a significant portion of which was focused on advising about pharmaceutical research, development, and industry-related matters. Specific experience in licensing, strategic alliances, FDA regulations and guidance, and/or corresponding state laws relating to clinical research and development, and compliance and liability matters is preferred. J.D. from an accredited law school and member of the bar of at least one U.S. state or the District of Columbia (New Jersey Bar preferred).
