The attorney in this new position, based in Charlotte, will have the opportunity to support a new online bank. The ideal candidate for this position will have three to seven years of experience in financial services and working with the legal and compliance issues surrounding financial transactions online. Specifically, the candidate should have experience with the following statutes and regulations: Truth In Lending Act and Regulation Z, Truth in Savings Act and Regulation DD, Electronic Funds Transfer Act and Regulation E, E-SIGN, and CAN-SPAM. Experience with the following specific areas is preferred, but, not required: FFIEC e-Banking requirements; conducting legal review of financial products and services marketing; working with debit, ATM and/or payment network rules and regulations; online bill payment; mobile banking and social media. Some travel required.
